Governor Madeleine Kunin served as the 77th Governor of Vermont from 1985 to 1991. She is Vermont's first and only female Governor of Vermont. She also served as Lieutenant Governor. After serving Vermont as Governor she went on to serve as a Deputy Secretary of Education under President Bill Clinton and as the U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland.
Jessica Nordhaus works for an organization dedicated to elevating women's economic status. Jessica is also the owner of Gear Shift Consulting, LLC, and is a leader in education, politics, policy, and systems change. She founded Horny Toad Activewear and is known across Vermont for her tireless work empowering young women.
