Burlington, VT – Today, Lt. Governor Molly Gray, a Democratic Candidate for Congress, released her second television ad of the Democratic primary.
The 30-second spot, titled “Now More than Ever,” highlights Lt. Governor Gray’s experience, including her service in the offices of Senator Patrick Leahy and Congressman Peter Welch. The spot illustrates her diverse experience – including her upbringing in rural Orange County, her work in Washington and as an attorney, and her service as Vermont’s Lt. Governor. This experience has prepared Gray to lead with Vermont values in Congress.
“We come together, we work together, we problem-solve, and we get tough things done,” Gray says in the ad. “As Vermont’s Congresswoman, I’ll work tirelessly to protect reproductive rights, pass common-sense gun laws, and create opportunities to help every Vermonter get ahead.”
Gray contends that her legal experience, including her service as a federal law clerk and as an Assistant Attorney General, will enable her to be an effective Representative, working to codify fundamental rights into federal law.
“Vermont has a long history of sending bold leaders to work in Washington, and Molly has worked for two of them,” Campaign Manager Samantha Sheehan said. “Now more than ever, Vermont values are needed in Washington. And no candidate is better-qualified to serve as Vermont’s lone Representative.”
